Klondike Electric Bicycles and Klondike Gift Supply are locally owned and operated in Skagway, Alaska.

We are currently hiring for several positions for the 2024 summer season.

Part Time Retail Associate - This person will work part time in the Klondike Gift Supply Retail Shop. Will be responsible for providing excellent customer service. Perform sales transactions. Assist with keeping sales floor stocked and organized. May need to open the cash register at the beginning of the day or reconcile sales at the end of the day. (15-20 hours a week)

Full Time Retail Associate - This person will work full time in the Klondike Gift Supply Retail Shop. Will be responsible for providing excellent customer service. Perform sales transactions. Keep sales floor stocked, organized and merchandised. (40 hours week)

Full Time Shop Assistant - This person will work full time in both sides of the business. Will be responsible for providing excellent customer service. Perform sales transactions. Assist with keeping sales floor stocked and organized. May need to assist with tours as a sweeper. Will help to check in and check out e-bikes. Needs to be able to give a safety speech to customers. Will help to clean bikes upon their return. (40 hours week)

Full Time Tour Guide/Cleaner - This person will guide our Skagway City Tour as needed. Basic mechanical skills and previous bicycle maintenance experience are preferred, but not required. Applicants must either already have or be willing to be certified in First Aid and CPR training through an accredited training program such as American Red Cross, or American Heart Association. This person will also help with cleaning bikes and cars upon their return. (40 Hours week)

Full Time Bike Mechanic - This person will maintain the quality and safety of our rental fleet. Will be required to provide excellent customer service while interacting with guests. This person will also help with cleaning bikes upon their return. Needs to be able to give a safety speech to customers. (40+ Hours week)

Our goal at Klondike Electric Bicycles is to make our guests visit the highlight of their entire Alaskan experience; as such, applicants should be focused on providing exceptional hospitality and have above average interpersonal and communication skills.

Wages will be based on experience and abilities. Varies between $16-$23 per hour depending on experience.

Housing may be available on a case by case basis.
