Our adventure begins as we embark on a scenic ride through the historic streets of Skagway. With the help of our e-bikes, you'll effortlessly cruise through town!

Along the way, we'll make stops at some of Skagway's historic sites – including our waterfront, Centennial Park, the Gold Rush Cemetery, Lower Reid Falls, and the town overlook!  We will then head over the Klondike Brewery, where you'll have the opportunity to sample a flight of locally crafted beers. Learn about the brewing process from knowledgeable staff and enjoy the cozy atmosphere while taking in the epic views!

With every tour sold, a portion of the proceeds is donated to the Fran Delisle Cancer Awareness Fund. This local organization assisted both the Klondike Bikes and Klondike Beer families during our time of need.  While our loved ones are no longer with us, their memories live on through this tour. This is more than just a tour; it's a journey with a purpose!

Self Guided e-bike Tour to Dyea - with lunch

This is the perfect for tour for those who like to explore on their own! This is your chance to see areas that most tourists to Skagway never get to see! Dyea, Alaska was a booming town during the Gold Rush. Because of it’s accessibility to the Chilkoot Trail, this area became an important staging area for prospectors heading to find gold in the Yukon! Once the train was built, the trail was not needed as a vital way of transport. Now, it is an expansive area filled with pristine nature and vistas.

This 20+ mile bike ride is a breeze on our fat tire, electric bikes! Follow along the hillside of Dyea Road for a ride that is breathtaking and sure to be a highlight of your entire Alaskan trip.

The best part about the trip is that you can stop and start at your own pace. No one is there to slow you down! The minimum amount of time required is 3 hours, but you have all day, so you can really enjoy the adventure!

While on your ride to Dyea, choose your favorite view to enjoy a picnic lunch. Picnic lunch will be picked up at our bike shop before you embark on your adventure! Please let us know if there are any special dietary requirements.

Skagway City Highlights and Gold Panning Tour

Journey with your guide via E-bike on a scenic ride along the historic waterfront of Skagway, Alaska. After a short ride you will arrive at Centennial Park, the unofficial Gateway to the Skagway Historic District. Your guide will provide you with in-depth knowledge of the beginnings of Skagway and how it came to be. This is also a great opportunity to grab a photo with the famous White Pass vintage locomotive and rotary snowplow. Continuing down historic Broadway Street, learn about the origins of some of the turn of the century buildings including the Arctic Brotherhood Hall, The Golden North Hotel, and White Pass Train Depot.

Skagway has always been known as the Gateway to the Yukon and the Klondike Gold Fields. Let's take an opportunity to see what all the fuss was about and pan for some authentic Klondike gold! Our next stop at Alaskan Fairytales will provide an opportunity to search for some authentic gold during an interactive demonstration. Learn the do's and don'ts of gold panning and go home with a unique Alaskan souvenir. After "filling" your pockets with gold, we will get back on our bikes for a ten-minute ride to the "Gold Rush Cemetery". Learn about the forefathers of town and the epic fatal duel that would determine the fate of Skagway. This stop also provides an opportunity to visit Lower Reid Falls, a majestic waterfall tucked away behind the cemetery. After enjoying the falls, let's put our E-bikes to the test as we take a 15-minute ride to the City Overlook.

Perched on a bluff almost 800ft above town, this picturesque stop will provide you with a bird's eye panorama of Skagway, and the Lynn Canal. Learn about how the Skagway valley and the longest deepest fjord in north America was formed. After ample time taking photographs from this picturesque location, we will end our tour back in town at Klondike Bikes.

Skagway Trail and Sail

Join us for the ultimate day in Skagway: E-bikes and Sailing!  This eco-friendly tour of Skagway is like no other experience around!  Your tour starts at Klondike Electric Bicycles where you will be sent on a 3-hour, self-guided e-bike tour to the old Gold Rush town of Dyea! Your e-bike adventure will conclude at the Skagway Small Boat Harbor.

This is where you will be greeted by Capt. Brendan so you can board the 50’sailing sloop Hopscotch! It will then be time to explore the very northern section of the Inside Passage! The Taiya Inlet is the longest and deepest fjord in North America, making it one of the most beautiful places to sail on earth.  You will sail past waterfalls and hanging glaciers…AND if you are lucky, you may even see eagles, whales, and seals! Boxed picnic lunches are provided at the time of your bicycle pick up.

Once your expedition is completed, the sailing vessel Hopscotch will return to the Skagway Small Boat Harbor, where you will say farewell to Captain Brendan. The small boat harbor is a short walking (or shuttle drive) to town or your ship!

Skagway Sailing Adventure

Adventure with our friends at Sail NW Adventures in the most beautiful place in North America. A maximum of six guests will sail aboard the 50’ sloop - Hopscotch. Grab the helm and experience the thrill of sailing in Alaska. Amazing waterfalls, Alaskan wildlife, and glacier views are all part of the ride!

  • “Grab the helm, hoist the main!” and feel the power! The captain encourages guests to get as involved in the operation of Hopscotch as they would like, or just sit back and relax, it’s up to you!

  • Learn the history of Skagway and the Lynn Canal (from a maritime perspective!)
